Biography
Laura A. Mandos, B.S., Pharm.D. is an associate professor for the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP). She received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University. She completed a post doctoral residency in psychopharmacology at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. For sixteen years, Dr. Mandos was joint faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Currently, she still teaches at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, the UPENN School of Medicine, and the UPENN School of Nursing. Dr. Mandos has been an investigator in over 100 Phase II, III, and IV clinical drug trials and has published multiple original research articles. She serves as a consultant to the Delaware County Office of Mental Health and is the sole pharmacist on the editorial board for Prevention Magazine. Dr. Mandos’ areas of interest are the mood and anxiety disorders. Her practice site is the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
