Welcome to University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP), a private, coeducational institution founded in 1821 as Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, the first college of pharmacy in North America. As you navigate through our website, you will read about our impressive legacy of educating individuals who have impacted pharmacy, science, and the health sciences. Our students are learning at the same institution where the founders of several of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world launched their careers. Our institution also helped inspire many of our alumni to begin significant careers that focused on improving the health and wellness of society.
